The challenge.
The client was struggling with
their automated stock-broking system, and was looking for a vendor
to provide not only technical implementation, but also high-level
design services.
Our solution.
We initiated with requirement
analysis studies and drew-up a high-level design of the
stock-broking system; the first two phases of the Software
Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The requirement study and high-level
design were completed in less time than scheduled and the design
document was accepted by Lippo. On the basis of the design document
we were further commissioned for creating and implementing an
integrated stock-broking system.
The results.
- A completely integrated system, catering to multi-currency
transactions for both retail and institutional businesses.
- Online updates of used limits and portfolio for clients based
on orders.
- Online updates of accounts/clients balances based on vouchers.
- Online updates of physical stock based on receipts and
deliveries.
- Online valuation of client portfolios based on market price.
- Margin call monitoring based on confirmed executions for
margin clients.

- Facility to generate ASCII file for sending confirmations by
Telex.

custodial clients.
